"Tommy Boy" (1995) stars Chris Farley as Tommy, a morbidly obese loser, who inherits his father's company and must save it from ruin. According to the IMDb (Internet Movie Database), the original working title for the movie was "Billy the Third: A Midwestern". However, producer Lorne Michaels was also working on "Billy Madison" and demanded a title change. Other titles that were considered included "Fat Chance" and "XL".

Answer: Candyman

The Candyman was the vengeful ghost of a murdered slave, and you called him by saying his name five times into a mirror. Tony Todd played the supernatural killer, running amok in Cabrini Green, and Virginia Madsen played the heroine Helen in producer Clive Barker's adaptation of his short story "The Forbidden". It's a powerful slasher film, and even today I can't bring myself to say 'Candyman' five times to a mirror. Just in case.

"Saturday Night Fever" was the dance spectacular featuring Tony Manero (John Travolta), a young man with a dead-end life, who came alive in the discotheques of late-seventies Brooklyn. The film helped (or was to blame for) bring disco music to prominence around the world, and the soundtrack by the Bee Gees sold over 15 million copies and was the bestselling movie soundtrack ever until "The Bodyguard" knocked it from its spot in 1992. "Catch It" referred, of course, to Night Fever.

Early in the movie, the brothers attended church at an evangelical service run by James Brown, and a heavenly beam of light struck them. From that point on, Elwood knew that they were "on a mission from God". The film has become a cult favorite over the years.

"Swingers" tells the story of Mike Peters (Jon Favreau), an unemployed actor who can't get over a break-up, and his friends, who try to coach him in the swinging, lady-killing lifestyle. Ranging from Hollywood and Los Feliz to Las Vegas, in cocktail lounges and nightclubs, the movie captures the swing music revival and the show business nightlife.

"Swingers" was Vince Vaughn's big break. Steven Spielberg saw the movie, liked the actor, and cast him in "The Lost World: Jurassic Park", paving the way for all the Vaughn romantic comedies of the early 21st century.

Answer: Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

"Prepare to be blown out of the water." refers to fact it's a fast paced film, about pirates. Captain Jack Sparrow and a blacksmith called Will Turner have to save a governor's daughter, who was kidnapped by Jack's former pirate allies. They are now undead - meaning they are neither alive or dead and are cursed forever. Can Jack and Will find the boat before it's to late? They find out later that the pirates have sinister purpose for Ms. Swann. It stars Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley.

Answer: Napoleon Dynamite

"Napoleon Dynamite" (2004) stars Jon Heder, Aaron Ruell, Efren Ramirez and John Gries. Napoleon (Heder) lives with his grand-mother and brother Kip (Ruell), and soon his pushy uncle Rico (Gries). When Deb walks into his life, he's not sure whether to go for it or to sit back and let his new friend Pedro (Ramirez) move on in high school popularity when Pedro runs for president. Will Napoleon help Pedro win his election, and will Napoleon win Deb? The tagline is referring to the fact that Napoleon wants to prove himself in school, just to prove himself. He's not really doing anything that would make him popular, but only to show who he is.

Answer: The Hole

"The Hole," starring Thora Birch and Keira Knightley, is about four teens who decide to skip a class field trip, and instead, hang out in an old army bunker. Their plans go awry when they realize they have been locked in, and they soon start to get sick of each other. The tagline shows how all four teens can't wait to be alone in the hole, but by the end, they can't wait to get out since they are stuck with no food, water, or family.

Answer: Dog Day Afternoon

"Dog Day Afternoon" stars Al Pacino as Sonny Wortzik, a desperate and largely incompetent man, who decides to rob a bank, to pay for his lover's operation. The problems start early when one of Sonny's accomplices runs away just after they enter the bank. It doesn't take long for the police to arrive, and soon the site becomes a media circus. At times funny, "Dog Day Afternoon" is based on a true story and shows what not to do when planning to rob a bank. The tag line sets the scene perfectly for the movie, by explaining that this is one robbery that is not going to go according to plan. It gives you a run down on what is going to happen over a period of time, and tells you that the movie is based on a true story.

'Halloween' featured killer Michael Myers, who killed his older sister when he was six years old. Sent to an institution, he escapes years later to try and kill his other sister (Jamie Lee Curtis) and her friends.

This movie is a sequel to the 2001 hit movie. This movie is possibly even funnier than the original, starring Mike Myers as Shrek, and Cameron Diaz as his new bride, Fiona. This time around they go to visit Fiona's parents, who quite despise Shrek, and the idea of their daughter marrying an ogre in general.

Werewolves rock. An American idiot goes to Paris with his buddies and falls head over heels for this girl he just met. Unfortunately she's a werewolf. It doesn't take long for our little American friend to also become a werewolf.
